Application Process

All prospective employees are required to submit an application for employment on the forms provided by the department in order to be considered for employment. Click HERE to download an application

All applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Applicants for Department positions may be required to submit to any or all of the following tests: written, oral, or physical agility.

All finalists may be required to pass an extensive driving and criminal background investigation.

All new employees shall be required to serve a probationary period of at least six (6) months.

Applications meeting the minimum standards will be placed on an eligibility list for one (1) year.
